bio
Eric Gonzalez is a multidisciplinary artist born and raised in Barcelona, Spain where he started training in dance, acting for camera, music theatre, singing and playing the piano, what we’d call a triple threat. He wrote a book, worked as a dance teacher and choreographer while studying in high school until his hard work, discipline, and morals brought him to the United States at the age of 17 after getting a scholarship for AMDA and he studied Music Theatre in both, Los Angeles and New York campus.
After graduating from his degree, he has worked in different movies, series and commercials for platforms like “hulu” as an actor and dancer, and he’s been cast for the upcoming musical “Aguardiente” directed by Luis Salgado (On Your Feet on Broadway) and already went through the developmental workshop. Coming to Washington DC from April 30th until May 24th!
Eric would describe himself as a really creative, hard working, disciplined and professional artist but most of all kind and respectful to others. He loves getting inspired, learning and throwing himself to anything he is needed to. He loves creating a nice and safe environment while working and has a great team spirit.
His mission has always been inspiring people and spreading a message of respect, love and freedom. He wants to be a reference for those who, like him, were afraid to show who they were because of other’s opinion. “Art is an escape door for many people, and we have the key”.
